1. Welcome! Please send us an email at weesnerviolinstudio@gmail.com to introduce yourself and request information about the next steps. We will promptly respond with a "Prospective Student Information Letter" that includes the answers to frequently asked questions, including availability and tuition information.

2. Our Prospective Student Information Letter contains a link for a form in which you provide your contact information and availability. This helps us immensely to stay organized and respond well to your inquiry. After we receive your form we will be happy to schedule a "meet & greet." At this point you will also have our phone number for easy communication.

3. At our "meet & greet," the prospective student & parent observe a lesson and meet us to discuss lessons, our teaching approach, and any questions you have. This is also an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether our studio is a good fit for your family. During this commitment-free period, you are welcome to observe additional lessons and group classes if desired. If you decide to move forward, we will work to find a lesson time slot, and your student can join the studio.

Please do not purchase or rent a violin before our meeting. We will give you recommendations during our meet & greet. We do not sell or rent instruments. But we need to measure your child's arm using our own preferred measurements, and we would like to talk with you about obtaining your violin. Otherwise the chance is high that you could end up with the wrong size violin, or a violin that will not play because it is inadequate, causing you the inconvenience of needing to obtain a different instrument. 

Young students often start with a box violin that we provide. Therefore you may have several weeks of lessons before you even need the real violin.

Finally, please read our reading material that we give to you at our meeting. Additionally, purchase a CD player and Suzuki Violin Volume 1 CD, and play it in your child's environment for many hours every day.
